Kerewan community assure loyalty to Coalition Government

The community of Kerewan in Kombo North District of West Coast Region over the weekend held a meeting to introduce their new Coalition supporter’s committee to the community of Kerewan and also show their loyalty to His Excellency, President Adama Barrow and his Government.
Speaking at the meeting, Alhagie Momodou Sanyang a resident from
Kerewan Jola kunda described President Barrow as a leader who came to rescue Gambians and non-Gambians from the former president Jammeh’s hands.
Zakaria Darboe Kerewan Coalition wing youth mobilizer informed the people of Kerewan that president, Adama Barrow’s Government is to contribute more towards the good of the people of The Gambia and called others to give their back to the opposition APRC party and, instead, stand with the Coalition Government.
Isatou Jara for her part said Coalition Government’s victory clearly show that genuine Gambians want change adding that Gambians did not make any mistake in making democratic change in the country instead of coming to power through guns thus there is nothing wrong in making change so as to be able to speak freely and move freely without looking around you. That is what is more significant to me.
Sainey Fatajo secretary, Kerewan Coalition Wing urged the people of the area to unite for the sake of nation building so that the country can achieve prosperity thus informing the gathering that the rally was spearheaded by his wing in the village in order to show their unflinching support to President, Adama Barrow and his new Government and also to urge the people in the area to forget about their past political differences and forge ahead with development issues.
