JOKADOU DASILAMI CELEBRATE COALITION VICTORY CELEBRATION AND ADVOCATE FOR RECONCILIATION OF PEOPLES



The community of Jokadu Dasilami Coalition party supporters and sympathisers of Lower Badibou on Saturday celebrated the Coalition party victory with cultural display to show solidarity with President Adama Barrow and the new government. The event was held in Jokadu Dasilami in the north bank region. Masanneh Sonko chairperson of Jokadu Coalition party said the victory celebration aims to strengthen solidarity with party supporters and promote president Barrow calls for national reconciliation with electorates of the former president to enhance peace building and national unity.
He said the victory celebration was welcomed and attended by all ethnic groups in the district to showcase their solidarity. Jerreh Fatty of Tambana, Lang Conteh of and Nyima Fofana women chairperson Dasilami thanks the Coalition for promoting freedom of expression and human rights and assured of their support to the principle democratic governance and reconciliation with other parties to support the development aspiration of the new government. The trio's uses the moment to call for unity on selection and election of rightful candidate in the upcoming National Assembly Election, noting it would help in putting in laws that are of interest of electorates.
Omar Sohna and MamatKebbeh of Munyagenanĸ Omar Cham of NdrammehJokadu and Kebba Sillah of Karantaba assured of their loyalty to the new government and hailed the government of Senegal, ECOWAS and UN for standing by the people's towards on peace mediation efforts. The speakers urged the new government to support the community of Munyagen with portable water supply to address water shortages and attaches great importance to provision of seed and fertilizer to farmers on time.
